It’s
T
I M E for a H U G
everywhere!
Mim Green, my mom and
collaborator, would have been thrilled to
know that lots of people all over
the world are hugging
to the words of our book,
not just in the U.S., but
anywhere people speak
Spanish, Japanese, Korean,
and Chinese!

|
Mim was a great believer in
hugs––and in language, books, and
reading: giant
steps toward the better world she
always envisioned.

TRANSLATIONS
Publishing a book is a
joyful experience, even more so
when
it travels to other countries, translated
into other languages.
Along with TIME FOR A HUG
and TIME FOR
A BATH,
WHEN
IT STARTS TO SNOW,
illustrated by the late French
artist,
Martin Matje, made new friends
in Japanese and French
translations.
In 2015, MOON
ROOSTER
came out in a bilingual
edition (English and Spanish),
illustrated by popular Cuban
artist, Ángel Velazco.

Over the years,
LISTEN,
LISTEN,
illustrated by Alison Jay,
has been
published in Estonian,
Spanish, Catalan, Swedish,
and pictured
here, Norwegian, Korean, Finnish, and
German:
